Regular Season Round 10: MS Academy - Vilvoorde 101-75

There was a small surprise when top-ranked CzechSnakes (4-0) smashed winless Belgian Vilvoorde (0-0) 101-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by MS Academy. Vilvoorde managed to win third quarter 25-23 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Snakes forced 23 Vilvoorde turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. Snakes looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Matyas Vitek (190-2007) scored 24 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Slovakian-Czech forward Jozef Jursa (204-2008) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Snakes players scored in double figures. At the losing side Youssef Zagdoud (-2010) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Eliott Pirart scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Vilvoorde's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Despite that victory MS Academy went down to first position due to points difference, which they share with 9 other teams. Loser Vilvoorde still closes the standings with 0 game lost. They share the position with 6 other teams.
